Safeguarding at Belmont Primary
The welfare of the children within Belmont Primary School is of utmost importance to us all. All members of staff (including lunchtime supervisors, teachers, teaching assistants, administrative staff and cleaners) have received safeguarding training and will continue to do so on an annual basis as well as throughout the year on specific safeguarding issues.The school works closely with a number of agencies and, where concerns arise, due process is followed to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr C Gibson (Headteacher). There are also Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL) who are Mrs S Noble (Deputy Head / SENDCo), Mrs L Allen (School Business Manager), Mrs N Lynas (Early Years’ Lead), Miss R Moscrop (Upper KS2 Lead), Miss C Sunderland (Lower KS2 Lead), Mrs A Brown (Office Manager) and Mrs A Fox (Office Admin Assistant). If you have any concerns at all about the welfare of any child, please do contact the school to speak to any of these people.
